HOW WE PREVENT CROSS CONTAMINATION
Cross-contamination is when germs and bacteria are transferred from one surface or object to another, creating the possibility that a person will become sick.
HOW WE DO IT:
Preventing cross-contamination in our client's home or workplace is not something that can be done as one separate activity. Instead, procedures must be integrated into nearly every task we make.
BRING AS FEW PATHOGENS INTO THE HOME AS POSSIBLE
- Hygiene and grooming matters: Our cleaners arrive in clean clothes, long hair is held back, shoe covers are always worn, and we are physically clean. A cleaner who has had a fever in the past 24 hours, a time when viruses spread easily, are not assigned to clean.
- We sanitize all equipment before every job so that pathogens from the previous job are not transferred to the current assignment.
WE KNOW OUR PROTOCOL & FOLLOW IT EXACTLY! Having procedures in place is always our best practice to help avoid cross contamination and the spreading of pathogens.
- We Use Certified HEPA filter vacuums that are designed for lead and asbestos abatement. Our vacuums have a completely sealed system with HEPA filter. This filter captures 99.97% of particles, due to multiple levels of filtration. This is essential in keeping dust, mold spores, and dust mites from resettling and re-contaminating.
WHY WE DO IT THIS WAY We take a systematic, multi-faceted approach to prevent cross-contamination because each facet of the system acts a fail-safe for the other procedures. By taking care to understand all the ways we can avoid cross-contamination and training our technicians on the techniques, we can perform at a high level of proficiency. We are totally committed on leaving our customer’s homes sanitized, and healthy.
