Who We Are
Essential Remediation was formed by a group of professional people right here in Madison Wisconsin with extensive cleaning and remediation experience that combined encompasses a better part of a century of experience in the restoration cleaning industry. Throughout the years of cleaning and performing restoration we all witnessed the complete abuse of water, abuse of chemical cleaning, more specifically bleaches, ammonia, petrochemicals, disinfectants, sanitizers and their associated cancer causing and respiratory irritant ingredients which have been a daily part of our lives probably since we were born. We formed this company because we realize it is our obligation to people and the planet to perform and share what we know about healthy cleaning that benefits us but doesn't hurt us or our planet. We have seen first hand the damage from over exposure to us and to our environment that have been caused by polluted run that ruins our waters , off gassing that ruins our atmosphere, and toxic cleaning chemicals that make us sick.
Essential Remediation is NOT a so called "green" cleaning company - we think of ourselves as a toxin-free cleaning company.
Our mission is to redefine the meaning of safer cleaning, sanitizing, and odor remediation to include sustainable, renewable and chemical-free options that are proven to be at the very minimum as effective as leading "green" and traditional chemical cleaners; and at the same time improve the health, safety and productivity of those who use or are exposed to those products where they live, work and play.
All " non toxic" chemicals, sanitizers, and antimicrobial applications we use have been scientifically proven and carry all documentation that states so.
The products we primarily use have been recognized by the USDA, FDA, and EPA as being GRAS (at a bare minimum), and "Green Seal" certified. Some have been tested by NSF and certified to demonstrate their efficacy and safety. In fact our methods and products are so safe that they go way beyond Green standards and in most cases are more effective than standard toxic and green chemical cleaning.
We believe that cleaning for health is just as or more important as cleaning for appearance.
This of the utmost importance for about 2 billion small reasons that we can all agree upon!
